Oregon my Love!
I finally put together a little collection of Oregon pictures for you. I had such a great time and I really wish I would not be sooooo far away from all of these lovely people.
I have been deeply connected with this wonderful state for more than 6 years now. I try to visit once a year. So it happened that during one of my visits I met a handsome Oregon who I have been dating ever since.
For the past 4 years we have been traveling back and forth, back and forth and back and forth…
Its been a lot of flying, definitely more for him, then for me, since he lets me accomplish this dream of being a wedding photographer here in Germany right now. (Thank you for always supporting me!)
Before I show you my pictures from this year’s trip, I went through some of my older pictures to show you my top 3 Oregon sights.
In case anyone of you is ever going there, this might come in handy.
Number 1: Crater Lake
This is THE tourist sight in Oregon and its always fun to go there.
Once you manage to drive up all the curvy roads (note: motion sickness medicine helps a lot!!!) you get to see this beautiful blue volcano lake. Its gorgeous and absolutely worth going.
Number 2: Hiking Mountains
This picture shows Moltnomah Falls which is one of the biggest waterfalls in Oregon. Its really beautiful, escecially if you like hiking.
I have to be honest it was miserable for me to hike up there, because they made me do it one day after I flew into Portland for the first time. I was way too tired for the long hike in the heat. And I also do not really like hiking that much 🙂
Number 3: The Oregon Coast
I LOVE the Oregon coast. The beaches are widely spread and covered with big rocks. Unfortunately the Pacific has always been too cold to actually swim in it whenever I was there.
A “must-do” is a trip to Mo’s to have a bowl of clam showder! YUMMIE!
Here are this year’s pictures of my quality time with my favorite Oregonians…
(all taken with my phone on Instagram)
going home. sad face.
